Participaction has a new physical literacy resource kit and it is awesome
Participaction, the Canadian non-profit with a mission to help us all to “sit less and move more”, has created a kit that helps explain what physical literacy is and why it’s important.
In the kit is an infographic that lays out the concept of physical literacy as a lifelong journey that starts when children are very young.
There’s also a downloadable sheet with information about the benefits of physical literacy.
A zipfile also on the website contains a wealth of images and animated GIFs that you can use on your Facebook and Twitter pages, to share the important message of physical literacy and its benefits for kids.
The physical literacy resource kit was developed with support from Sport for Life, the Coaches Association of Canada, ViaSport, and us here at Active for Life.
