Our children are playing less than ever before. Screen time—the time spent watching television, playing video games, or using smartphones, tablets, and computers—is a major reason. And as technology advances, screen time is only likely to become a greater challenge.

Why be concerned? New research is starting to show the damaging effects of screen time on kids’ brains. One recent study suggests that children’s brains are growing older faster, with premature thinning of the brain’s cortex being reported. Other commonly discussed impacts include disrupted sleep patterns and accumulated fatigue.

We know that it’s a challenge for parents to manage their children’s screen time, and we know that discussions around screen time can often cause conflict within families. That’s why we created the series of images below to help parents.

Please help us build awareness on how to manage kids’ screen time by sharing the images below on your social media, website, or blog.
