Toronto kids choose midnight basketball over Kimmel
So, this is kind of cool: “Midnight Madness” is a late night basketball program for youth in Toronto’s community housing neighbourhoods.
Staffed by volunteers, the program helps to keep Toronto’s youth off the streets and out of trouble.
The first of its kind, “Midnight Madness” runs every Friday night between the hours of 9 p.m. and 1 a.m. in communities across the city.
Scheduling the program at a time when it’s needed the most; what an innovative way to get kids involved in a positive activity.
Way to go Toronto!
